"Durty Nellie's"

This bar used to be down near here. when the city decided to revamp, they condemned the building this bar was in (it was very old and very decrepit). Durty Nellie's is a very popular Irish bar with music every weekend...sometimes the line to get in is around the building....this is across the street from the train(again!) and the parking building for the commuters is behind this. They do a booming business.

  4. Wow, that must be fun to be there. I loved the Irish bars in Austin where I lived for a few years. Students and teachers used to meet there on Friday evenings....

  7. I don't care for the new developments in Palatine. I think the town is losing its character. Everything now has the same brick facade. The town is too busy trying to modernize everything that everything is the same now. Its amazing how much things change in just a few years away at college.
