Inverness signs

One of the things the village does do is they put up beautiful street signs with the Village Hall (mock castle) on the sign. This intersection has always been confusing because once you cross the street...it is a different street....and why go to all the trouble to make pretty signs when the Stop sign needs a new coat of paint? or maybe a new sign?

  5. No matter what, the blue sky and colors in the signs make a pretty picture. I hate to go in an unfamiliar town looking for a place and you can't read the street signs.

  7. Hi bluechic, I am 34.48 miles from my front door to Navy Pier.....is that helpful? I know it's amazing what I see on your blog as well living so close!! and you bet I never leave the stove on...or the iron...or curling iron..or ...you get my point!

  8. Amazing post. One day I'll post a peculiar stot sign, but taking into account my delay in posting (I'm now in May 2005 and this trip was made in Novenber 2006), it may take some time... Be patient, please!

  9. Nice shot. That is great the village puts such beautiful street signs up but like you point out, when the upkeep is not maintained on other signs, it can be a distraction.

Thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog.
