Mia Cucina
This is the side of the Italian restaurant that is now closed. When this was painted, it was quite unique for this town(15 years ago)...now it is just sad and faded...forlorn, even.
Things go bump in the night and close. It is sad that people can't tuff it out in business. But these days with the nation being over weight, I would guess that killed the "Italian" part of the business.
You should collect those purple cone flower seeds and scatter them this fall where you want them to come up. Your seeds are probably being eaten by finches and you have none left to sprout and grow.
My wife, Patty, and I have been married for 52 years today. Imagine that. 52 married years
It's still a very unique building. What a shame it had to close. I wonder if when it changed hands the food got bad. Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog today!
These murals are very well done and I can sure they were the originals. Those ads aren't more used here too except old bars and restaurants that's very difficult to find anymore.

Too bad it's not in business anymore. I like those murals! It looks like it used to be a great place. Maybe someone will buy it and open again!
ReplyDeleteThe mural looks nice, but the perugina chocolat advertised there is much better... ;)
ReplyDeleteoh yes, sad to see businesses go--and I do love murals, and like it when they go up on buildings and such.
