Signs

This is at the local United States Post Office near my house. If you look closely, one can see MANY signs. I have always chuckled at how many there are where you can drive by and drop off your mail.

  2. Hm, if someone doesn't heed the huge red STOP sign, is the smaller Caution sign going to be read?!? I wonder...

  6. I can see 7 signs just in this intersection alone. It seems like the Caution sign should've been under the Stop sign or do they want us to stop, put on our seat belts, and then watch for cross traffic?

  7. Yes, there is always alot of signs. They want you to pay attention to the road, but you also have to read the signs.

  10. -chuckle- Sometimes it seems that whoever puts up signs, never saw a post which couldn't 'take' one.

  11. There is someone in an office somewhere thinking up signs to erect ot intersections, the more signs he has, the more secure is his job.
Also, you see those lights to the left of the stop sign, they are the old type of light that waste electicity, they should be replaced with the more efficient type that just shine down to the ground using less juice.

  12. If you think about it, the seat belt and cross traffic signs are really unneccessary if you know the rules of the road!
