Bird's nest
I thought there were just a bunch of leaves left in this tree after all the wind and snow we've had, I found that to be remarkable. On closer inspection, it appears to be a bird's nest.
Is it Big Birds nest?! As its so large, I think it could be a dray too. I was gardening yesterday and came across an old birds nest while pruning, it was about the size of a side plate. I hope I didn't destroy someones summer residence. :(
Hi Neva, gorgeous, gorgeous photos. I've caught up on ABC Wednesday X, Y & Z plus this coming week you'll see the new round with A & B. :) I hope you had a wonderful holiday period. Nicole x http://themoderngoddess.wordpress.com/
Hi Neva.. me again.. twice in one post. I was out today with Peter a few miles from where we live in a woodland we have both never been in. I have neve seen so many drays in one woods. Their were also lots of Squirrels in the tree tops. Some of the drays had discarded plastic bags in them.... seem our rubbish gets everywhere... maybe it makes for a dry weather proof covering..
If the leaves seem to be added in the fall then it might be a squirrels dray. These can be quite big.

ReplyDeleteOk, that makes so much sense that it really is a squirrel dray.....thanks!
ReplyDeleteavec ce temps, j'espère que l'isolation du nid est bien faite.
ReplyDeleteWith this weather, I hope that the isolation of the nest is well made.
