Last view of Cabela's
There is stuff to buy at Cabela's... but the display at the top is what caught my eye. Lots of stuffed animals here....I am not big on hunting but this store also has lots of sports equipments...for skiing, or snow blowing or just about anything people do outside...camping, dog stuff.... the list is endless. Obviously they sell guns....I just noticed that is what is on the back wall. The store is like no other store I have been in. Worth a trip if you live near one.

As you've said, this is no ordinary shop. Just flipped back to see the other photos and it truly is amazing. More like a museum with the display of animals on the cliffs. Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis store's displays are amazing - so much detail and colour; looks so real. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Adelaide in Photos
What a nice mural in Cabela's. I like these kinds of stores that have camping and sports stuff. The entrance of Cabela's you posted earlier, Neva, is amazing. It does look like a museum display.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks more like a museum than a store. Very beautiful! We really don't have comparable places in France. Too bad.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting store!

I am like you. Not a hunter anymore but your photo sure turned this into a wonderful place.
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed your post on this store, it is very different to any we have and would certainly see me wandering around.
ReplyDelete........keep on playing and you surely will. There's a lot of material in the store shot!
ReplyDeleteNeva, really an interesting story but... how do they dust?
ReplyDeleteI've seen their catalogs but I don't think there is a store around here. Interesting place tho.
ReplyDeleteNice shot of a beautiful mural!
ReplyDeleteNow that's a nice photo. It must be such a huge hall.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and for your wonderful comments. Sorry if I wasn't able to visit you sooner - very very busy house hunting! Do visit again!

There isn't a Cabela's near me, but a deer head by my fireplace would make my house more lively.
ReplyDeleteNeva, This has been a nice series from Cabela's. It is quite the outdoor outfitter. Even if someone isn't particularly interested in buying any of this stuff it is a fun place to visit and browse.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking me inside Cabela's. I'm much more likely to stop and look inside now when I see a store. It would be an experience greater than just shopping.
ReplyDeleteI'm not into hunting either, but I'd love to learn target practice shooting.
ReplyDeleteThe mural type painting up there, is magnificent. And you captured it wonderfully.
