ABC Wednesday X is Xenia, Ohio

I was wondering what I could do for "X"...x-ray obviously as I am a retired x-ray tech I have a few...even the one of my broken little finger! but figured everyone would do that....so my mom, on her way home, drove through the town of Xenia, Ohio...just East of Dayton, and took this picture. Thanks, Mom!
And since no one did an X-Ray, I feel compelled to do one since this was what I did for years. So here is a foot, a wrist and a finger...but not mine!!

  7. I thought for a minute you were getting deep down personal on us but then I read it is not of you. X-rays are interesting. I am sure you enjoyed your line of work.

Never heard of Xenia, Ohio but sure would love to go through the town just to say I have been to Ohio.

  11. Xenia, Ohio! My grandmother's family was from there, and I remember a trip to visit great-aunts and uncles and cousins when I was a child. That was before the big tornado hit.

  19. An interesting post. Xenia - I checked some atlases and could not find any X towns in Australia. If I were part of this, I probably would have come up with X-rays too; I have a few lying around.

    Thanks for dropping by.

  20. un choix très original, la lettre X sur tous les abécédaires a donnée des résultats très différents et très surprenants. Bravo
To be very original, the letter X on all abecedaires gave very different results and very surprising. Bravo

  21. I used to teach just north of Xenia at their ten new vocational school. I still have fond memories of some of the teachers there. It is a nice city that was nearly destroyed by that monster tornado.

  22. So you added the X-rays of blogging fingers. Nice.

  24. I nearly went to Xenia myself - but my Xenia (better known as Chania) was on the island of Crete. I was there three months ago.

    Good choice

  29. Interesting! X-rays tend to scare me. Fear of finding something wrong.

  30. I like your post - I have never heard of Xenia before. I was going to post the xrays of my blocked arteries, but could not find them so had to resort to plan B

  31. hey, thats quite an unusual pic. interesting. im an architecture student, and the stationary shop in our college once made sketchbooks that had old x rays as their cover page. very unusual, very unique, very abstract and they make a great graphic... all the things that architects love. needless to say that all the sketchbooks were soon sold out. :)
