ABC Wednesday X is Xenia, Ohio
I was wondering what I could do for "X"...x-ray obviously as I am a retired x-ray tech I have a few...even the one of my broken little finger! but figured everyone would do that....so my mom, on her way home, drove through the town of Xenia, Ohio...just East of Dayton, and took this picture. Thanks, Mom!
And since no one did an X-Ray, I feel compelled to do one since this was what I did for years. So here is a foot, a wrist and a finger...but not mine!!

I wonder what it would be like to live in an X town.
ReplyDeletewow with the holidays and all I forgot it was Wed, hope you had a great holiday season Neva!
ReplyDeletegood post
Gee... who could tell there was a town called Xenia? Well done.
ReplyDeleteNot oinly the Xenia but also the dailY and the gaZette. All three in one.
ReplyDeleteI thought everyone would do xray too! I have my mammogram one but didn't think that would be a good idea. :-)
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many other towns out there start with X?
WOW, that is cool X-stuff :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best
I thought for a minute you were getting deep down personal on us but then I read it is not of you. X-rays are interesting. I am sure you enjoyed your line of work.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of Xenia, Ohio but sure would love to go through the town just to say I have been to Ohio.
Fascinating! Can't see there being an X town in Yorkshire! LOL!
ReplyDeletePhew! OK check out my blog again! All is sorted!
I think I recognize some of those..there's my x's foot, my neighbors's hand. lol!
ReplyDeleteGood post Neva!
Good ones. I never knew there was such a place.

Xenia, Ohio! My grandmother's family was from there, and I remember a trip to visit great-aunts and uncles and cousins when I was a child. That was before the big tornado hit.
ReplyDeleteThanks goodness for Moms! Great post!
ReplyDeleteI love X-rays, so pretty. I didn't participate, is it X already? I'm getting lost. Last I knew, it was U or soemthing.
ReplyDeleteHappy New year!
Both of those are good choices for "X" -- I'd have found it tough to think of something.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, and Happy New Year.
Bobbie
X-tastic Neva...
ReplyDeleteLove the x-rays..
I'm looking forward to more blogging fun in 2008. Catch up with you again soon.
You went to Xenia and I went to Xania!
ReplyDeleteThey say that you reveal a lot about yourself as a blogger - but you even reveal your insides!
Xtraordinary photos !
ReplyDeleteHappy new year and long life to your blog.
Like the X photos very much. The town is very original. Happy new year to you!
ReplyDeleteGood x's.
ReplyDeleteAn interesting post. Xenia - I checked some atlases and could not find any X towns in Australia. If I were part of this, I probably would have come up with X-rays too; I have a few lying around.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by.
un choix très original, la lettre X sur tous les abécédaires a donnée des résultats très différents et très surprenants. Bravo
ReplyDeleteTo be very original, the letter X on all abecedaires gave very different results and very surprising. Bravo
I used to teach just north of Xenia at their ten new vocational school. I still have fond memories of some of the teachers there. It is a nice city that was nearly destroyed by that monster tornado.
ReplyDeleteSo you added the X-rays of blogging fingers. Nice.
ReplyDeleteGreat X post!
ReplyDeleteI didn't have any clue for X, so will try next week for Y.
ReplyDeleteI nearly went to Xenia myself - but my Xenia (better known as Chania) was on the island of Crete. I was there three months ago.
ReplyDeleteGood choice
Perfect X letter posts. I figured everyone would do the x-ray. Glad you did.
ReplyDeleteGreat for X posting. I wish I could go to Xenia sometime.
ReplyDeleteCheers

Good work on the x assignment,I really loved the x rays, I thought they might be your bones but I see that they aren't...still, it's great stuff!
ReplyDeleteWhat a supportive mom! I hope those x-rays are not yours otherwise you would have had lots of accidents. Haha!
ReplyDeleteInteresting! X-rays tend to scare me. Fear of finding something wrong.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo. Do come visit again! Have a fab weekend!

I like your post - I have never heard of Xenia before. I was going to post the xrays of my blocked arteries, but could not find them so had to resort to plan B
ReplyDeletehey, thats quite an unusual pic. interesting. im an architecture student, and the stationary shop in our college once made sketchbooks that had old x rays as their cover page. very unusual, very unique, very abstract and they make a great graphic... all the things that architects love. needless to say that all the sketchbooks were soon sold out. :)
