I couldn't decide for theme day and am leaving it up to the votes. I narrowed my down to seven. Yikes! Hate to say I just couldn't pick one. Come take a look and put your vote in.

Neva, for some reason you don't show up in the automatically updated dropdown menus. Do you know why?

Wishing you and yours all the very best for 2008!

  23. I like this shot - my husband is an Illini alum (not a good day for the Illini!) and I recognized this from a visit we took to Champaign a year or so ago.

Looking forward to more great shots in 2008! Happy New Year!

  34. It was indeed a monumental shot in more ways than one. Great photo!

I look forward to visiting your blog more often this 2008. And you're welcome to mine, too! For some reason, my link was not included in the participating blogs for the 1st of January 2008 theme day. Sorry I wasn't able to visit your blog sooner. I was in transit the whole of yesterday. I am now back in Norwich after the most fantabulous time at home in Manila.

Happy New Year to you and everyone you hold dear!

  36. Hooray, X-ray! With the added addition of Xenia, Ohio. I remember the name of that town very well because of the tornado that hit in 1974 and the one that hit it again in 2000. It's great to know that the town is alive and well. People can be amazing.

I really like your best photo, and I'm happy to see it again.

Cabela's looks wild, to say the least. All I knew about them before this is that they're a sponsor of my favorite Iditarod musher, Jeff King.

Thanks for your good wishes for Mama; she's a bit better today.
