Non foggy Inverness morning

This is the same road I take to work but with the sun shining. I don't always go this way but I am forced to now that there is construction on my regular route. This is in a residential area so the speed limit is 25 MPH and it is sometimes hard to go that slow on such a straight road!

  1. I like these pics, but I can't seem to pin down the road. Roselle Rd? Long Grove Rd?

Construction season never ends around there ... I'm glad we're not living in Buffalo Grove during the Lake-Cook construction!

  6. We have 20mph roads now over here in the UK, mostly built up areas where children might be, the normal speed limit being 30mph. It is hard at times to drive at 20mph, but the risk of a child running out and of course we now have roadside cameras to catch you when you go faster as seen a reduction in child deaths on the road. So lowing the speed limit as got to be a good thing in certain places.

  9. Looks like a nice road. It would be hard to go 25 on the straight stretch.

  10. Looks like a good road for drag racing. Not that I would drag race....good thing that cop has gone away for a while. Just joking, I do hope she is all right. Okay, back to your blog, nice picture of the road and the sun shining through.

  11. It appears to be a perfect road for day dreaming; I'd have to engage the cruise control.

Thanks for visiting Portland (OR) Daily Photo.

  12. Hahaha! Yes, straight empty roads can be tempting. But speeding tickets aren't fun.
