This was mostly done by the girls at our infant school, I rember the girls would sing songs and ryhmes whist skipping, maybe there's some here you might recall.
What an inspirational 'J'! I loved skipping, I tried to take it up again recently as exercise but will leave it to the kids - gravity takes all the fun out of it! :)
I'm surprised that there are some boys jumping rope too! When I was in school the boys would never, never jump rope at school! Maybe at home with their sisters, but never at school. I guess some things have changed for the better.
If I was walking by and saw that scene I don't think I would have taken a picture, because it is of young kids. It's easier for women to take some pictures.
I really have a difficult time with J post and hence the late visit to everyone. What a clever theme you have with Jumping. Congratulation and the picture is lovely with kids with tons of energy. I feel energetic in visiting your J post. Thank you.
Hi It’s me from Vietnam!!! Am waiting in the Victoria Hotel Sapa for our bus to the o/n train back to Hanoi. Having a wonderful time - great food and people. Many thanks for visiting while I have been away Cheers Jules
Never too old to jump! I'd be doing it now if I could but no one to hold the rope! I didn't realise children wore school uniforms such as these anymore.
clueless--I did worry a little bit about taking this....I even considered blurring it so you couldn't see the children's faces...it is a sad statement to our society that I even had to consider it.
Nice picture! I used to love jump rope and I'm glad to see the kids still do it. Good exercise.
ReplyDeleteDot tried to talk me into doing the ABC Wednesday but I didn't. I am enjoying looking at the ones who are taking part. Jumping Rope is a good "J"
