An Inverness Church
Not only do we have the little cemetery in Inverness, we do have a church....this one was built in 1988. It is Holy Family Catholic Church. My kids did First Communion here. The inside cross is unbelieveable and I will show it to you tomorrow.
Hello again Neva, I also have added you to my favourites list, ha! you will have to put up with my humour now on here... Thanks for visiting my blog again today.
I look forward to seeing the inside view tomorrow ... Years ago, when I moved from the mid west to the east coast one of the things which stood out was how many more cemetery existed than what I was accustom to. I was on a preliminary business trip before excepting the job. That night I called home and shared my impressions. My daughter went to school the next day and told her friends that her dad was moving the family to a place full of dead people.
Hello Neva, it's nice to meet you and see some of the sights and people around your part of the world. I looked over your blog for the first time today.

ReplyDeleteVery modern and beautiful. Funny. I posted a photo of a very old tiny church on my blog. The opposite of yours ;-))
ReplyDeleteIt is kind of magic to see a church like they are these days and compare them to the way they used to look.
ReplyDeleteI like your church photo a lot. And will try to remember to return tomorrow to see the cross.
I am also working on Features about why people comment on some posts and not others. You might find that interesting when it is done.
