Blenko Glass

I've posted about Blenko glass before (here as well)but I was in West Virginia and went to the plant....unfortunately , they weren't actually blowing it the day I was there....but here is a display of some of the glass they blow. It is really an interesting place. Go here if you would like to see more and yes....I did add to my collection!

  1. Ohhh I'm so jealous. I'm obsessed with art glass, and I've been trying to persuade Jeff to go there sometime.

I don't know if you heard, but the biggest, most famous WV art glass company, Fenton, went bankrupt and shut down operations just before last Thanksgiving. I was so upset (their work is incredible) that I almost cried.

  2. I remember the last post you did about this well.. I commented for sure.. I am glad you go to add to your collection. I wish I could have kept many of the things I sold back then.
I'moff to follow the links now.

  3. i also adore art glass, the play of light and colour can make me high! So cool that you and Kelley got to meet! I adore her enthusiastic comments with the capitals for emphasis, and she looks so like a friend of mine who has a similar bubbly personality. And you most definitely don't look old enough to be having a 32nd Anniversary, congrats (on both scores!)
