A summer jazz concert
There is an outdoor music park in Highland Park, Illinois....it is a place called Ravinia and we usually go once or twice in a summer season. Tonight, some friends from work met at Ravinia to listen to Gilberto Gil....a very nice Brazilian musician....we usually bring something to share and a few bottles of wine. One of my co workers is a wine connoisseur and brings some FABULOUS wine. We had a great evening this evening and I am sorry Peter...but I really don't know how to put it into by computer...something to work on!

Ah! Ravinia! "Louis" would like to attend a concert there. Ravinia must be open to all sorts of music. It is certainly a famous venue for classical performances.
ReplyDeleteFor Sky Watch over at San Francisco Bay Daily Photo, we have a dance between the moon and the fog at midnight.
une rencontre et une soirée qui devait être très sympathique, si en plus il y a un superbe vin....Bon Weekend
ReplyDeletea meeting and an evening which should be very nice if in addition there is a superb wine .... Good Weekend
You really had Giberto there?!! Fabulous guy, I love his music, but I don't think that I would find an opportunity to see and listen to him in a nice park like this, surrounded by friends and wine...! A concert hall would do!
ReplyDelete... and for the video, I will have to go to You Tube then! :-)
Have a nice weekend!
Looks like a nice gathering.

ReplyDeleteAhh, I still remember the magic of Ravinia, and that was over 40 years ago.
