A Suspension Bridge
The light was very flat when I took this photo, I apologize for the bad quality but I loved this bridge. It is in Cincinnati,Ohio and it connects Ohio to Kentucky over the Ohio River....which was very swollen that day. This is known as the John A Roebling Suspension bridge and you can go here to read more about it and see a better picture of it!

je sais pas pourquoi (sûrement a cause des piliers) il me fait penser a un pont anglais
ReplyDeleteI do not know why (surely a cause of the pillars) it makes me think of a bridge English
Hi Neva - this is a stunning bridge - adds to the skyline of the city doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteHello Neva ... that sure is a nice and fantastic suspended bridge!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very nice veiw. I love photographing bridges. I dont know why.
ReplyDeleteYou could have enhanced the colors by using Photofiltre (I think it is Olivier who recommended me to download it, it is free),
Your photo brings back memories. I personally have crossed this bridge several times when working for a client in Cincinnati.
ReplyDeleteEnlarging the picture I was able to see the bridge better. Interesing post.
ReplyDeleteI like this bridge too. The floods you've had there have been on the news here!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to Greece for a week for my well deserved holiday! I'll catch up with you when I get back :)
Glad it isn't flooded there.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very nice bridge!
ReplyDeleteThe side parts (ramparts?) do remind me of tower bridge in London.
