Theme Day...My corner local shop
I am not officially on Theme Day this month but this is the local bar in the town next to Inverness (Inverness has no industry unless you count the golf course!). This building has been in Palatine for a very long time. Enjoy theme day here!
Yep, I'll join the party on the top floor verandah. Enjoy your spring/summer planting Neva. What passes for winter in this neck of the woods is upon us,but certainly not what you call winter!
Mahalo for your visit and comment. I see I'm the first one to belly up to the bar with you, so let's get the party started, ok?
ReplyDeleteThat is a grand looking corner shop!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful building, beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteLooks festive - and patriotic!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to left comment on Nelson. It looks wonderful place, how's a bar meal taste like?
ReplyDeleteVery cheerful place - am struck by how calm it is, considering it is a bar.... very nice!
ReplyDeletethat would be fun to sit up on the porch in the summer and watch the world go by! love it.
ReplyDeleteGood pick for theme day.
ReplyDeleteI like the balcony overlooking the street. I would be interesting sitting out there to see who and what goes by.

ReplyDeleteThat's nice. It looks like a place to enjoy the atmosphere up there on the top floor.
ReplyDeleteI think having a latte on that top terrace would be great!
ReplyDeleteMay I have a drink with you on this nice terrace?
ReplyDeleteQuite a sharp looking place.
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice-looking shop, very colourful. :)
ReplyDeleteGreetings from

I'm imagining summertime, having a beer on the deck, watching the cars drive by.
ReplyDeleteI could sit on the deck and have a diet coke, right?
ReplyDeleteI haven't been here, but I am going to have to make the trip! The upstairs looks perfect for summer evenings!
ReplyDeleteI can't help notice those steps - does it have an accessible entrance?
ReplyDeleteGlad you still took part. This looks like a nice shop. Happy Theme day :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice local bar, Neva! Love this architecture!
ReplyDeleteYep, I'll join the party on the top floor verandah.

Great shot, Neva. Looks like a sharp building; nicely maintained!
ReplyDeleteIt still looks well maintained and new even though it has been around for a long time :-)

Happy Theme Day!

ReplyDeleteThis looks like a really nice place!
ReplyDeleteAm I in wrong if I say it looks so Old America and so cool?
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a great bar, the veranda looks like a great spot for a drink and a chat. I really like the color scheme :)
ReplyDeleteGreat corner shop.
ReplyDeleteLovely veranda in it.
Just come over to PDX and we will treat you with great NW hops.
ReplyDeleteCheers
That looks quintessentially American to me! Lovely shot!
ReplyDeleteMust get a bit of winter snow in this area, judging by the significant pitch of the metal roof. Perfect for your "non" theme day contribution :)
ReplyDeleteLooks really nice!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful building... I really like seeing buildings styled as such.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very picturesque corner store.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really nice 'corner store'.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little spot that is. Wish we had that in my city--very pretty indeed.
