Sequoia Tree
After our tree got struck by lightning, I remembered I had this from Muir Woods, Ca. These are HUGE trees and I am guessing that hole hasn't hurt that tree much! Eric looks tiny next to it!
Sequoia are such awesome trees. There are trees in our woods that live on despite having been struck by lightning. Amazing isn't it. Beautiful photo Neva.
Muir Woods is a beautiful place - I'm glad you got to see it. There's a tree in northern Mendocino County that people could drive cars through. I've seen pictures, but I haven't done it.
And I thought the redwoods we have at Hogsback were big. They are really awesome trees. I posted some pics of some that were planted in South Africa about 100 years ago
