A Texas Cowboy in Virginia

(I reloaded this picture....hopefully it can be seen by someone other than me!)
When I was in Virginia, a high school friend and her husband picked me up from the airport and took me here...what a great restaurant! It really did feel like I was in Texas but of course I was not!

  2. Hi Neva, I'm afraid I can't see the picture either. I thought it was just my computer. I'll stop back later to see it!

  5. Oh. my. goodness.

Jeff and I go for dinner at Sweetwater on special occasions... like the one occasion where I dragged him through the National Gallery of Art for 5 hours, and during that time we met a world famous art historian who wrote about on of our favorite paintings.

Jeff, however, always orders the chicken nuggets.

  6. Out boozing and you ran into, why, could it be, I think it is ... THAT'S THE COWBOY FROM KISSIMMEE!! And they're trying to pass him off as Texan?? The gall of it all!

So, now that I'm done with the silliness ... great photo!! Glad you had a good time in Virginia!

  8. Hi Neva! Beautiful pictures this week. The cowboy looks great, but my favourite is the O'Loughlin story...
Thanks for your comment on Blogtrotter, where I’m exploring a new country now. Surprise! ;)
Hope you have a great weekend!

  12. Hi Neva - great shot - this is so typically Texas architecture.

  13. Great shot! I like the contrast between the statue and the architecture of the restaurant.

  14. Sweetwater is one of my favorite restaurants. Excellent food, excellent service... only downside is it usually has an enormous wait time.
