Another Olympic shot
Here are the events that my son attended at the Olympics.
He went to 5 events:
1) woman's gymnastics (1st heat china and romania)
2) woman's basketball (NZ v Spain, Czech v Mali)
3) Men's quarterfinal soccer (italy v belgium)
4) Women's quarterfinal beach volleyball (USA v China, Australia v Brazil)
5) Men's Gold medal waterpolo (USA v Hungary)
This is the gymnastics event....he said he had nosebleed seats but was not complaining since his tickets were free!
I just love this picture!

ReplyDeleteGreat photo and perspective!
ReplyDeleteun beau supporteur des équipes américaines, belle composition cette photo.
ReplyDeletea great supporter of the U.S. teams, a beautiful composition this picture.
Very cool picture.
ReplyDeleteThey are steep seats! I saw the England team play football at Old Trafford stadium (in Manchester) a few years ago and the seats were so high up I was expecting oxygen masks to drop down from the ceiling!
ReplyDeleteI can see why you love this picture! It's sure a great view of the action.
ReplyDeleteWhat mother wouldn't love this photo? Wow!
ReplyDeleteObviously ready to show which team he's supporting!
ReplyDeleteHi Neva!
ReplyDeleteIn Beijing, with free tickets; what else? :)
I’ll finally get some days off this year; not much, just from Friday night (September 5th) through Monday morning (September 15th). But I don’t leave you empty hands: a beautiful beach and lots of champagne wait for you at Blogtrotter. Enjoy! ;)
I would say he is very fortunate to travel to China and back and see the 2008 Olympics. And this is a nice photograph too.
ReplyDeleteHere is a shot I took at Shiogama, Japan 54 years ago when color film first came out Thunder Maker
These photos are treasured memories. How lucky your son was to go, and lucky for us he had a camera.
ReplyDeleteI am back, says the pesky one!!!
ReplyDeleteNow, if you don´t mind, let me go check up all your photos I have been missing.
Great one this one, but I'm more curious about the pliers :)
I'd get vertigo I think. He was very lucky to see so much!!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic shot, cool!
ReplyDeleteCatching up on your posts. Nice photos.
