One of the things I acquired when I married was the ability to tell people I am "IBM"....Irish by Marriage! I am American and there you have it.....anyway....It's ABC Wednesday...O is for O'Laughlin ...Americanized from Ireland from O'Loughlin to O'Laughlin at Ellis Island. The crest stands for the anchor of salvation and the O'Loughlin's come from the County Clare. I think this means they were archers when they were fighting or whatever they were doing! Please stop by Mrs Nesbitts and see what wonderful things others came up with for the letter "O"!
