Flowers

With all the rain and cool weather, some of the flowers around us aren't doing so well. These are doing very nicely. They are in my neighbors yard. She obviously weeds waaaay more than I do!~

Raindrops

The rain has been falling and these are the tulips that were covered in snow 2 weeks ago. I am anxious to see if they actually bloom!

Spring has Sprung

I go away for 4 days and it was still cool temperatures. I come home and Spring has definitely Sprung. This house has the most beautiful landscaping in our neighborhood. They have flowers for every season and I love how they always look.

Tulips

Going just a few hours east and south of where I live, spring is in its prime! These tulips are in my sister's backyard and it was so nice to see such lovely signs of nicer weather. It is so GREEN here.

Flowers

I was downtown for dinner the other evening at the Union League Club. These flowers were fresh and they smelled soooo nice. Since we had snow last week, this is as close to Spring as I can get right now!

Lady Neva Day Lily

My neighbor is an avid gardener. Last year, she found on line a day lily named "Lady Neva". She couldn't resist getting it for me(after all..it IS my name!) and here is the result.....and interestingly....it truly only stays in bloom one day....not like my fire engine red day lilies or my Stella Dora's. Go figure that the name actually means a "day"!
