ABC Wednesday K


"K" is for Kirkwood, a street in Inverness near me. All the street signs have the "castle" on them.
Make sure you stop by Mrs. Nesbitt's to see what everyone else came up with for "K".....they are getting harder for me!!!

    You can actually use the same photo also for "L"; Lanark!

    Do the signs have a castle on them because everyones home is his castle? LOL

    In Scotland a Kirk is a church.. is there a church near by or Scotish connection? Interesting K post Neva

    Looks like a pretty neighborhood. Our town here in Southern California likes to put horses on their street signs and welcome signs...

    I do like the castle - and the new Canon camera as well.

    I have never seen street signs with little pictures on them. Very unique!

    Thanks for your comment about the kangaroo at the zoo. They were in the same area as the peacocks.

    Why do all of the street signs have castles? The castles make the street signs look prettier than a normal one. Great choice :)

    Nice K post. To answer your question about the cherry blossoms, they don't have any scent that I've noticed.
