A Painted wall
This is on the wall at the student Symphony hall at Roosevelt University. I actually got reprimmanded for taking this picture by the usher...and may I point out that it was BEFORE the concert even started??
How beautiful! The quote is awesome and so true :) Wonderful photo.
ReplyDeleteHello. This post is likeable, and your blog is very interesting, congratulations :-). I will add in my blogroll =). If possible gives a last there on my blog, it is about the Wireless, I hope you enjoy. The address is http://wireless-brasil.blogspot.com. A hug.
ReplyDeleteNice pic under difficult lighting! Hey I loved it that you bucked authority to practice your art!
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame you got moaned at.. it is a great wall and should be shared..
ReplyDeleteYes, they don't like it when you take photos in theatres. I found this out while in a theatre on Broadway, while visiting New York. And it was before the performance!
ReplyDelete... and you did not even use the flash! Beuatiful decoration!
ReplyDeleteGuess bad mood is universal, so as bad politics about taking photos.
ReplyDeleteAs you can remember, I already showed photos that I had to get just like that because someone was always behind me warning "no photos", "no photos" ...
Nice photo, Neva!
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend!
Great shot!
ReplyDeleteThanks for getting into trouble to give us this lovely decorative wall.
ReplyDeleteI got into trouble for taking a photo of a building that was burning - I was standing on a public road!!! This little man ran out waving his finger at me and said:
"No photos, no photos" to which I replied. "Too late, too late I've already taken them."
It looks lovely. Thanks for sharing. I'm sorry to hear you got in trouble. I don't know why they wouldn't let you take this picture.
ReplyDeleteHi Neva! Sorry for this short visit just to thank for your comments on my blogs. This weekend, I’m going to take a musical break, and next week I’ll make a very short trip, crossing South Atlantic. I’ll try to catch up with your posts as soon as possible. Meanwhile, leave you with some chocolate champagne truffles at Blogtrotter.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend and an excellent week!

So glad you got this photo. I know in Monaco and Menton, often you can't photograph in public buildings. Well done for getting this super shot.
ReplyDeleteThe photo is beautiful. I too couldn’t resist taking the photo of such a beautiful decorative wall.
ReplyDeleteI too had such experience but in one of our shopping centres only two days before New 2008. There was a huge Christmas tree wonderful decorated and I was just about to take a photo when a young man from the security walked up to me saying that photographing wasn’t allowed. He even took my camera to check what photos I already taken. There was nothing but a photo of oranges from my kitchen table. My family laughed at me when I told them this story. They use to make jokes on me saying that I pretend to be a stranger in my own city.:-))
Beautiful image.
ReplyDeleteLovely. Glad you snuck by, to get it. :-)
