Theme Day: Graffiti or Street Murals
This is an abandoned business but I have always liked the murals or wall art!
There are over 144 blogs participating. It should be an interesting visit around the world. Enjoy Theme day!

These graffiti look lilke real art. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteMuch better than graffiti!
ReplyDeleteNice works - would they have been stencilled on as they are advertisements, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteSexy new camera, Neva!
That's a lovely new camera and I love your choice for the street art!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the sort of thing that could easily disappear.
ReplyDeleteI hope you photographed each one individually.
Looks great. Much more interesting than most posts today, mine included!
ReplyDeleteLove the old poster style murals. Very nice.
ReplyDelete(The Perugina stencil must p-off every single Italian that sees it. They've misspelled the word cioccolatieri!) :D
Have a nice Theme Day, Neva.
Very nice, draws the eye to what is a blank side of a wall.
ReplyDeleteEach mural could be a post in it's self ... I notice the leaves have quickly come to Illinois this year (smile).
ReplyDeleteThose are very attractive! I can see why you like them.
ReplyDeleteNeatly placed and well-done!
ReplyDeleteI like the old posters as murals too. Much better than some of the alternatives.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing art on drab walls.
ReplyDeleteClean and simple. I like it
ReplyDeleteA neat set of murals; attractive advertising.
ReplyDeleteI totally forgot about theme day. I just posted now with a mural. I like your photo. Nice one. I notice you got more snow too. So did we and I want some sun too.
ReplyDeleteA good selection of advertising pictures. I hope they remain when the new businesses arrive.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my other blog. I am trying to lose weight too and will have to check out the WW stuff. Most of their stuff is good. thanks for the web address too for the article. going to check it out now.
ReplyDeleteI really like this sort of advertising - so much nicer than the paper ones which are here today and gone tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Glasgow DP :)
It must be nice to see these walls en route to work or somewhere else. Very interesting images.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and for leaving your comments. Do visit again!
Happy Theme Day!

I couldn't register for the Theme day - it was closed 2 days before!! Not to worry my graphic card died so my photos aren't retrievable anyhow - am using stuff from my work computer.
ReplyDeleteI like these as they are art - not into graffiti much!!!!
Those are really interesting collection of murals in your city.
ReplyDeleteThe building looks fairly new with lovely art on the outside. Sorry to hear that it's abandoned.
ReplyDeleteMore like art than graffiti - i like!

ReplyDeleteu sure they are graffiti?
ReplyDeletethey look so 'authorised' hehe..
Happy Theme Day!
It looks great! Well done!
ReplyDeleteThey look like reproduced labels from bottles, chocolates, etc ... love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visiting, Neva!
ReplyDeleteThe 2# photo is a good graffiti photo indeed. It was taken by my husband. But I don't participate on Daily Photo.
I just changed the legend of my 1# photo, really it's better "Beware" than "Warning". Thanks for that! Have a nice Sunday!
Abandoned or no, it's lovely art that can give pleasure to everyone--even those of us in different time zones! Lovely indeed!
ReplyDeleteI do like the outdated charm of these advertisements! Well done, Neva!
ReplyDelete(and I must say you are much too kind with me in your comments!)
Nice to see some real street art instead of the senseless graffiti most of us have to endure.
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
They are also ads right? What better way to showcase them! VEry lovely!
ReplyDeleteNice way to brighten a dull wall.
ReplyDeleteThats great, proper street art. I think Street Art adds to an area, Graffiti takes something away.
ReplyDeleteIt's very nice. I would like to see when the sun is go down and those spot list is showing the each mural as like art gallery.
ReplyDeleteVery neat!
ReplyDeleteThose are great reproductions of old ads -- they add a lot of character to the building.
ReplyDeleteHi Neva, this makes a change from the usual graffiti.
