I left my heart.....
in San Francisco!! Not really.....but it sounded good! I have been on a quick whirlwind tour of San Francisco....one of the highlights of my trip was meeting up with a fellow blogger (Hi avCr8teur!) and had a wonderful time...Lots of fun and I will show more photos as I wake up! This is a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge on our way to Alcatraz Island.

WOW!!! Now it was my time to think it was Lisbon's Bridge (built by the same construction company)!!! Just like Kim, at Seattle Daily Photo!!!
ReplyDeleteNice photo. I have flown over it and taken a large ship under it but never crossed it.
ReplyDeleteLove all the photos, keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. Nice to hear you had a good time!
ReplyDeleteThe last time I saw Alcatraz was over my shoulder as I swam as fast as I could! LOL
Beautiful.. I am looking forward to seeing some pictures from this trip. I do hope you have one of Alcatraz... Two films which come to mind from this post that I do like are The Birdman of Alcatraz... with Burt Lancaster play the lead role of Robert Stroud the convict.
ReplyDeleteThe other is 'Escape from Alcatraz' about a convict called Frank Morris who possibly was the only inmate to have successfully escape from the prison. Clint Eastwood play - Morris. To great films and two great actors.
You don't get much better than Tony Bennet! Good photo. Glad you enjoyed your trip. I'm looking forward to seeing more.
ReplyDeleteNice to see this bridge again! I remember having walked from the Marina District to Sausalito ... and back... many, many years ago!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet other bloggers; I will soon see a few, several Paris visitors on their way!
I love bridges and this one is a must! I'va been said that the water is always cold in San Francisco, do you agree?
ReplyDeleteYes, that bridge does really look like one at Lisbon.
ReplyDeleteAlcatraz? A very well known prison.
Are you posting about it?
How fun to meet up with avCr8teur. I used to live 25 minutes from the Bridge. Now we live 2 hours inland. I don't see the ocean everyday as I used to. Don't miss the fog though.
ReplyDeleteNice photo! Sounds you had a great time!
ReplyDeleteI'm so tickled that you got to go to San Francisco, a place I've heard so much about and seen in movies, etc. And you got to meet a fellow blogger--fantastic.
