A snowy driveway

I can't say exactly how many, but in the winter, many residents need to mark their driveway in order to be able to snow plow or snow blow the snow off. The little red markers sticking up is what many of us use.

  1. That is certainly some snow fall you have got there, the idea of markers is a good one. Do people come around and clear the roads and driveways?

  2. Most depend on curbs to tell city drivers where the edges are, but of course that don't work in deep snow. I like your photo.

  3. Some people contract for a service to come and snow plow and some of us chose to use the snow blower. Depends on the individual homeowner....but let me tell you how sorry you are if you forget the driveway markers!!!

  5. It sounds so "exotic" to me...Here, all is always green! And it reminds me of these red sticks in Australia, not for snow but for floods!

  10. This reminds me of my childhood and youth in Sweden. Somehow happy that I don't see to much of it anymore... although a nice ski run is not bad.
