A heartfelt stove


Not only does my friend collect Santa's and bears, she is also a "seasonal decorator"! She decorates her house for the season or holiday that is next. This is her stove around Valentine's Day. She has quite a talent for this and she has some lovely pieces I have admired (ok...salivated over would be a better word!)over the years. I LOVE her stove as well!

    The two pictures of your friend's house show some architectural consistency in her house - the stove and the fireplace share a rectangular setting in their rooms.

    How are the roadways there, covered up with snow, impassable? Are you staying with your friend until you can get back home again?

    I think we should make more of an effort to decorate our homes for the different seasonal days. I really like what your friend has done :)

    Hi Neva - You will love the Canon - we have always had them and now have 40 D - love it!!!

    Is that a gas stove? I used to have a gas stove. It was nice for cooking but I didn't like it when the gas ran out and you would smell gas fumes and also had to wait for the delivery guy. Glad I have electric one now.

    I've been very busy these last days and out of blogs...but my children's vacation is over this week end so I'll soon have more time to visit you!
