What a door

I seem to be stuck on neighbor's doors. This is another neighbors door(thanks!). I have always found it interesting as to what kind of doors people pick when they are building their house...as mentioned before...we went for functional not beautiful...I imagine these are more functional than I would think!!

  1. cette porte sous la neige, j'aime beaucoup le contrasme entre la couleur de la maison et la neige.

This door in the snow, and I love contrasme between the color of the house and the snow.

  2. Keep them coming Neva.... Most 'New' doors have built-in security which a must now adays.

But it is great it can be done without being seen and making the overall design suffer.
Glad to hear you got your New Camera... which did you go for in the end?
I am very pleased with mine and so glad I got it.

  3. I like the door and the entrance which is copied in the vaulted and arched roof. Nice place. Could pass as a church.

  4. This gateway is so imposing that I wonder if I would feel more impressed than welcome?

  7. Those doors look great; like my friend Tom's door in Rumson, NJ...
But with all that snow, it doesn't seem too inviting...
    Have a great week!

  8. That is one massive impressive, beautiful door your neighbors have. Nice picture. Put a wreath and some holly on it and it looks like a Christmas card.

  10. Don't know if you will see this or not but here goes. . . . I came by to see your ABC Wednesday post and the first thing that dawned on my computer was that "door" and I thought, "Oh no, they got my idea!" But then you called it a door so I knew it was an earlier post. lol

  11. Beautiful entryway. Is this the house you mentioned?

I'm going to post a shot of some Celebration houses for you on tomorrow's post. Not closeups, but decent.
