ABC Wednesday D is for Dentist
This is my dentist's office. It used to be a bank but now it is an office and a realtor's office. Make sure you try and visit all the ABC participants listed on my side bar and over at Mrsnesbitt's place. Enjoy!!
I used to hate dentists with their sneering white teeth as they pretentiously put you through agony.
I've got a good one who is very smypathetic and though I'm still a bit nervous, he knows and respects that and treats me accordingly.
I broke a tooth before Christmas and yesterday he put something over it to stop it hurting my tongue. I have to go back in two weeks to have it extracted though. Dentists are becoming rare in the UK. My friend in Scotland has to drive 50 miles to find one.
Ackworth, I had no idea dentist's were that hard to find in the UK. It seems they are a dime a dozen here! But I love my dentist and go once if not twice a year for a cleaning.Fortunately, I have not had major work that needs to be done...at least not recently!
Uh oh, thanks for the reminder. I need to go for a check up soon. I used to freak my dentist out when I got him to do fillings without a local anasthaetic - I now just go with the flow
I never thought of "dentist" but that's a good one. Up until a few years ago, I was paranoid about going but did because I felt the alternative would be worse. But I finally found a dentist that I like and who is gentle and considerate of my fears, which have subsided a lot since going there.
Hey Neva, I hate dentist's but Ios seemed to have bad teeth last years, so last year they took 1 teeth out, this year agin anothet BIG teeth, poor animal,
Oh, goodness, you could have chosen almost any D except a dentist. I have a love/hate relationship with my dentist. His associate sometimes does ny check-up and always comments that I have spent a lot of time in the chair or that there is a lot of money in my mouth. I have assured both of them that I haven't bitten a dentist in at least fifty years.
I was going to say that sure is a fancy dentist's office and well lit at night.
ReplyDeleteThat must be my favourite for today...
ReplyDeleteoriginal, comme tout le monde je pense, je n'aime pas aller chez le dentiste ;o)
ReplyDeleteOriginal, as everyone I think, I do not go to the dentist ;o)
Well it clearly says what it does! But not a very original name is it?

ReplyDeleteA very inviting building; hope the treatment is as nice. I don't mind going to the dentist now; modern techniques have made it less painful.
ReplyDeleteI'm not very fond of the dentist, but good pick for "D". :)
ReplyDeleteYour dentist could sell his/her office to another dentist and nothing would have to change.
ReplyDeleteTee hee. Dentist is one of the last Ds I would have thought of! ;-) Your dentist has a beautiful building to work in.
ReplyDeleteWould never have thought of dentist for the letter D.Sure is a nice looking dentist office from the outside any way.

ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful building.
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a bank more than a dentist office. That's where I'll be going in a few days. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteThat looks much grander than my dentist's place! Thank you for visiting my ABC. Sorry for taking so long to repay the visit.
