I don't get a chance to see too many windmills. Do you know if this one was functional or just for decoration?

ReplyDeleteVery interesting picture Neva, I like this style of windmill, and the roof is a stunning.. I'm I right in thinking this type of roof covering are called Shingles...
ReplyDeleteThis was a working windmill. It was at the arboretum when we were there a few weeks ago in the children’s part. They had a complete children's park with environmentally correct farming/gardening ideas for your back yard. It was really very nice and Tom these are called Shingles. The little house was a scaled down version for the kids.
