My side yard
Just thought I would show you some of the neighborhood. This is out my garage. We own up to the oak tree on the far right. The one tree closest to the street is a Mountain Ash. With the ash borer on the loose, we expect to lose this one as well as the 2 you can't see after next summer. *sigh*

How sad to loose those beautiful trees. How something so small can destroy something so large..
ReplyDeleteVery nice really big yard you have.
I hate to hear that about the future of your ash trees, Neva. Aren't you glad you can take these photos of them while they're healthy? I am glad for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!
Now that's something... pity you are going to loose them...
ReplyDeleteWhat a yard it is - although I would not want to be responsible for mowing it. Beautiful, green and level. Was this taken recently? - it seems too green for Illinois.
ReplyDeleteGreat place, wonderful views! Shame that you're going to loose those trees...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy while they last, and have a great weekend!
How sad to know that your trees will be gone. Very beautiful view nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteVery sad to loose those trees. Maybe it is nature!!!! Thousands of trees have the same overhere.
ReplyDeleteI tried to answer your dike guard question on my blog.
