West African Drummers

I took my daughter back to school yesterday and she talked me into coming to her West African Dance Class before I left for home. These musicians played for almost 2 straight hours....I do not know how their arms didn't fall off...but they were pretty awesome. Go here to read more about the class.

  3. I am a fan of Track and Field and at the international meets in Europe there are often a group of west african drummers to are pounding out their music while their countrymen and women are teaching the world what long distance running is all about.

  5. They probably practice all the time. It reminds me of the Japanese Taiko drummers who stand and drum for hours. I get tired just watching them.
