ABC Wednesday

 
It is the third round for ABC Wednesday started by Denise.
My choice today is Alcatraz....a place that was very interesting to go and visit.

    I remember when Alcatraz was synonymous with the most feared prison in the world. I don't remember--why did it close?

    I went on a boat trip out to Alcatraz but then the mist came down so I never saw it!

    I have only seen it from the mainland, never visited. I imagine it must be fascinating (though grim, as Kate said) to tour the place.

    I visited Alcatraz last year. It left a deep impression on me, for sure!
