A green yard
We have certainly enjoyed a mild summer...hence the very green yard...I am not a fan of watering the yard for a variety of reasons and get really annoyed with neighbors that do as we are all on a well and tap into the same aquifer below ground....we also don't use weed killer...as it makes its way to the water ultimately...the pros and cons of no sewers where we are....on the other hand...stop over and we will play some boccie ball on my lovely green yard....

ReplyDeletea beautiful park, with a magnificient sky (say that here it's raining and the sky is black)
That sounds nice - and in those surroundings!

Well done Neva - as Kermit says - it is important to be green!!!!
ReplyDeleteYour outlook on a "green" lawn is commendable. Thank you, also, for your comments left on my daily photo site for Costa Rica. Costa Rica has pledged to become the world's first carbon neutral country, by 2020. To help achieve that goal, the government is planting 7 million trees this year, an increase from the 5 million new trees planted last year.
ReplyDeleteOh, I would hate to have to water that yard. Its good size. I will be over after lunch, K?
ReplyDeleteNeva - this would be a good Sky Watch entry!
ReplyDelete"Louis" can almost smell freshly-cut grass while looking at this! ;-)
