The Venetian Hotel

You really do feel as if you are in Veince when you are at the Venetian. They have the gondola boats with the boatman serenading you.....opera singers walking through the streets where the stores are....really....who needs to gamble in Las Vegas when you can be exposed to so much culture?

  2. A Las Vegas on trouve le monde entier, cela doit être impressionnant.
In Las Vegas they find the whole world, it must be impressive.

  3. Opera singers on the street, I must have missed that on my visits to Venice!

But it sure looks like the real thing here.

  4. Hi Neva!
Sorry I couldn’t visit you for the last two weeks! I’m trying to catch-up and see the wonders you have around!

So, you're enjoying Vegas. It seems the Italians created Venice just to compete... ;))
    Great fountain picture!

Meanwhile, one of the most beautiful Forts in India waits you and your comments at Blogtrotter: – The Amber Fort! Enjoy and have a great weekend!

  10. Nice!

Lovely to hear that your daughter is in India. Does she like it there? Monsoon usually starts only in June. The weather in India these months are nice and warm ( or hot -depends!)

  11. Neva, I thought you were in Venice!:) Well, at least this looks like the next best thing. My daughter has been to Vegas a few times and tells me I would enjoy it just to see the sights, even though I don't like to gamble. Looks like you had a wonderful trip!

Sorry I haven't been around for awhile--the past few weeks have been very busy. If you have some time in the next few days, drop by to see a photo of the newest member of our family:)

  12. It does look real! And probably much cleaner too ;)

I hear the Venetian in Macau is just as realistic — that, we might actually be able to go to someday!

  13. Did you take the gondola ride with the singing gondolier? I've never been on it, but it seems cool to start outside and then they row through the hotel shops.
