Saucer Magnolia


This Saucer Magnolia Tree is outside the door I go through everyday when I get to work. It bloomed over night and then the rains continued and most of the beautiful flowers are now on the ground...

    What a beautiful tree! I've had the same experience this past week--my crabapples just started to bloom when the strong winds came, and the blossoms all blew away. I love spring, but I think it's the shortest season of all in Illinois.

    This tree is SO beautiful. We have magnolias here but I've never seen one in as much bloom as this one. Thanks for your visits yesterday, Neva.

    If you didn't show the flowers on the ground, I wouldn't have thought a lot of it fell off — there's still so much! And it's lovely.
