A view of both falls

(A side note....this photo was taken on the top of the walkway down to the boat you see at the bottom....called MAID OF THE MIST-more to come on the ride!) Here is a picture of the horseshoe falls...which is on the Canadian side and the New York Falls that I showed you yesterday. I can not begin to tell you what a stunning vista this is when you are there plus the roar of the falls is amazing. And let me be the first to assure you that those people that thought it was a good idea to go over the falls in a barrel were one french fry short of a happy meal!! Can you see the size of the boulders at the bottom of the falls????? what in the world could they have been thinking?

Patty and I will be celebrating 53 years of marriage on July 12th. Think of it as a long-term relationship.

I have invited bloggers to offer suggestions on a gift for me to give Patty and the list would not be complete without your ideas.

I told you I would come back to see this 'stunning!' NY Falls in Canada, this for me a reason to visit Canada again but 'on the other side' my aunt/uncle are living in winnipeg , my cousin in Ottawa, so I can travel from one to the other side....Please show me some more!!!!

My reaction for you on your comment/my blog: Neva,
Ios is a great dog I can imagine that people might be afraid for a big dog... tho.. IOS wouldn't hurt a fly...In the post above/Monday, I write my last health update, I am feeling OK, except for the shoulder :)And yes! our little cell is a good cam for quick things.

  5. Amazing pictures of an amazing place! I have some framed dias that I took in 1965 (!) hidden in a box which I haven't opened since decades. I believe that they were not too bad, including some night shots! I must have a look again one day, but where can I find a dia projector?

  11. Those falls are amazing Neva, I would love to see them.

One of my most favourite places on the planet is the Victoria in Zimbabwe. I can spend hours there, but will probably never go back again. The last time I was there we had to pay an extortionate rate to get in and after what Mugabe has done to the country, I think I will stick to my memories.
