An Interstate Bridge
Since I live in the Midwest....bridges aren't as common here in the breadbasket of the world! But there are PLENTY of interstate bridges to see. This one is actually a figure 8 but I like this view. Thanks to *Louis* over at San Francisco for hosting the Sunday Bridge series...click on the Golden Gate Bridge icon to see more!

I guess motorways, highways, freeways, interstates are always impressive concrete. I like the 'under' look!
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a heavy, strong, concrete bridge! You've posted a string of interesting bridges over the last several Sundays!
ReplyDeleteKind regards from EAGAN daily photo in Minnesota
I think a lot of the freeway bridges have a semi classical look. round pillars with lots of swoop. MB Nice shot. MB
ReplyDeleteThere is an interesting geometrical look to the overpass. Very impressive angle.
ReplyDeleteWhy shouldn't this type of bridge be represented in the Sunday Bridge series? Good choice, Neva!
ReplyDeleteCool shot! I like the curve.
ReplyDeleteWe really don't have a lot of bridges down here in Jackson either. :)
ReplyDeleteMy grandfather used to call crowded overpasses (when you have a bunch together) spaghetti bowls. My whole family has taken over the tradition now. So nice spaghetti bowl!
I used to love riding on the highway to Chicago! All those overlapping highways fet like rollercoasters ;-)
ReplyDeleteI didn't think there were many bridges here until I started looking.
ReplyDeleteI like the angle of this shot! You've mad a highway bridge look like a piece of art. :)
