Yesterday, these were out on the tree but today when I drove by, they were down. It did finally get to 40* and melt the snow.

What I was trying to show here were the Christmas lights that are buried under all the snow but they really did not show up ....But I do like the way the tree is in focus in the front. This is a house not too far from where I live...it is actually next to the vet I use....she has a vet practice out of her barn....I will show that tomorrow.

When my Russian visitors were here, they were fascinated by all things Christmas. We watched quite a few Christmas movies but what one of them found unbelievable were all the decorations that one can use. This was one of her favorite shots of the little Victorian house that sells such things.

I passed this last night and I can honestly say that I have never seen an RV decorated for Christmas before....of course it was on an RV lot but still.....it caught my eye....Thanks to Ming the Merciless for giving me the info on how to do night shots with my little point and shoot....I still need practice but I did get this one!

Reflections

 
I wish I could say this is my tree because that would mean I had started decorating however; it's not. This was near the sad gingerbread house yesterday and I just liked the reflections against the glass.

We were at a holiday brunch today and saw this sweet little gingerbread house. I have never had the patience to make one so I always appreciate the effort put into one. This one is missing a window frame and some gumdrops on the roof. The sign next to it-which was gone when I went to get a picture-said CLEARLY "Display only Do not eat"....makes me think they sprayed something on it.....obviously didn't stop someone(s) from having a snack!
