J is for Jersey Boys...this was taken at the Las Vegas airport.....A show I would highly recommend.

ABC Wednesday I is for Interesting

It is ABC Wednessday again. Thanks to Denise for hosting our 4th round. These looked like the letter "i" to me. It is a very INTERESTING display at one of the hotels (Mandalay Bay) in Las Vegas...so not quite the end yet!

ABC Wednesday H is for Hotel

 
It is ABC Wednesday hosted by Denise. This is the Flamingo hotel's entrance from the garden which is lovely. Very 1940's in my mind. Hope you have a minute to stop and visit ABC around the world.

ABC Wednesday E is for Elk.....

 
Elk Grove Village, a town not far from Inverness and where we used to live. This is a public, old cemetery that needs some serious attention. It is right next to the I-90/Kennedy expressway and very near the on/off ramp. There is an electric box very near the front of it and is difficult to find. My choice for E....and yes, Elk Grove used to have Elk. They are in the forest preserve right down the street and there is a fence around that part of the forest preserve to keep them safe...but I could not find them with my camera!

It is ABC Wednesday and I am doing a wedding dress. Her dress was made from her mother and grandmother's wedding dress by her new sisterinlaw who is a designer in Montreal(where we were for the wedding).....Congratulations Laura and Alexis!We really enjoyed your special day!

I really liked the way my neighbor's house looked through these mighty oaks which have not lost their leaves yet. They look so majestic, especially with the snow surrounding them.....I thought they made a great choice for "T".

It is ABC Wednesday-- here is my contribution. This is the train station near me that takes you downtown to Chicago. The village has worked very hard to make this appealing so homeowners might want to buy near the railyway or railwalk!

When I was a kid, we had a chair like these that we all loved to sit in...It was a great chair for reading. A fabulous lounge chair......while we were out looking at model homes, I saw this and just loved it....to enjoy all the ABC participants hosted by Denise go here.

I bet you all thought I would do Inverness...but Inverness is in Illinois. The 21st to be admitted into the Union in 1818. I am not a big collector of items but I have kept these hearts to hold odds and ends in. Some hold jewlery(which is what came in them) and others hold hair do dads. Stop over at Mrs. Nesbitt's place, the host of ABC Wednesday (thanks Denise!)

This is the entertainment between volleyball matches. I do not recall that they showed these girls on TV during the Olympics. Guess you had to be there to catch all the little nuances!
