Road block

I was on my way to a doctor's appointment (running late due to traffic) and this is about 4 minutes from where I needed to be. They are pulling a cable (maybe electric) across the road...blocking 4 lanes of traffic. Needless to say, I was a few minutes late for my appointment...something that annoys me no end...being late. *sigh*

  1. LOL. You are a true blogger Neva. In the midst of being late and the obvious stress, you still took a photo :)

  2. I hate being late too. I always try to give myself at least 30 minutes of extra time to get to where I go.

I hope you are well and that the doctor visit was for a regular check-up.

OR it was a hot date with the doctor. ;-)

  3. I hate being late too but sometimes you just get throw curve balls that you can't do anything about and just have to laugh it off.

  6. I hate to be late also... in fact I usually tell my family we need to leave 10 minutes earlier than we really have to.... just so we'll leave on time :)

But it looks like you had a beautiful day, blue skies and fluffy white clouds on this late day!

  9. Hi That photo and your story,

makes me reminding a doctorsvisit last year also! I went with IOS to the vet for her teeth operation, I had to be there at 9.00AM sharp, because of a truck blocking the road, I was a half hour too late, the doc started already with the next operation (after us), so I had to wait for 3 hours there, oooops and IOS had not eaten also, the poor dog!

    I like your little stories:)
